Heather attended the National Vacant Properties Campaign Conference June 1-3 in Louisville, KY. The campaign works to provide everyone "with information resources, tools, and assistance to support their vacant property revitalization efforts." Heather represented Lawrence and GWL as part of a panel - alongside Flint, Baltimore, and Detroit - titled "Fostering Citizens Greening," where she discussed GWL's many greening projects including the brownfield to park projects (Scarito Park, Manchester Street Park) with a focus on food security and resident stewardship.
