  • Shawsheen River Watershed Association will be participating in the Third Annual Shawsheen River/Costello Park Cleanup on Saturday, April 16, 9 AM to 12 Noon. There will be many groups of volunteers collecting trash in the park and surrounding areas. SRWA folks will do a river sweep in canoes and kayaks from Andover to Costello Park, collecting trash as they go. There is plenty of work to be done. SRWA have canoes and gear to lend. Please let Bob Rausea at 978-851-9505 know if you plan to attend and if you need a boat and/or any gear.
  • Clean the trash out of Lawrence Day! Saturday, April 16, 1:00pm - 5:00pm, lead by Anthony Nunez. For people who currently reside in Lawrence please clean up your street/block. For those who currently do not reside in Lawrence but want to help their hometown or if your street/block already clean organize in front of the old LHS and the library, then spread from their. What each person should bring: 1 pair of work gloves, 1 or 2 trash bag(s), 1 broom or sweeper. Learn more and RSVP through Facebook
