Coming Soon in May! - Community Meetings to discuss improvements at the Historic Campagnone Common (North Common) The city has received a grant from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) to make some improvements on this important community space. Campagnone Common is named for the three Campagnone brothers of Lawrence who gave their lives during World War II. A number of memorials to our service men and women can be found at Campagnone Common, in addition you can find a playground, baseball field and the Robert Frost Fountain.
