Kite Festival

The Kite Festival is now scheduled for Saturday, July 20th!

Come join us and celebrate the 15th Annual Kite Festival!

Saturday July 20th 2013 from 11am-3pm

Every June, GWL hosts the Kite Festival in Pemberton Park on the Merrimack River in Lawrence. The 2012 event went very well, attracting Lawrence residents of all ages!

Each year we offer:

  • Food provided by Lawrence Public Schools | Summer Meals Program
  • Trolley Rides provided by Lawrence Heritage State Park
  • Kite Making
  • Summer Camp Information
  • Information from many of our community partners including WIC, Next Step Living, and Lawrence CommunityWorks
